I think we should put a greater emphasis on having women involved in professional sports, whether that means having more women referees or coaches, or just giving more attention to women who are professional athletes and the broadcast attention they get in comparison to men who are professional athletes!
I think this could drive up the wages that women receive in this field and make the playing field more equal between men and women.
For kids growing up to be able to see concrete examples of women who get just as much attention as men but for the right reasons such as being an athlete, I think we could really change the paths of some young minds who would otherwise look up to women who have been portrayed in less than ideal light.
