The Sessions
When you opt for the Oscar’s Grinding Strategy, your roulette play will divide in sessions. Each session will have several wagers. This particular strategy calls for the player to start wagering at 1 unit and keep it at that level until he/she wins after losing a wager. Then, the player can increase the wager to 2 units.
When the next win happens, the wager should decrease to 1 unit. Alternatively, the bet could increase to 3 units if the player had several losses before the winning took place while the streak stayed negative.
All in all, the bet should stay the same until the player wins 1 unit, upon which the bet should increase. Or, if the player lost, the bet should repeat.
The Oscar’s Grinding Strategy
The core of the Oscar’s grinding is to aim for the smaller wins that should come more frequently. The way to do it is to divide the chips in two halves. The first half should go on the first 12 numbers, and the second half on the third 12 numbers. The filed in between stays blank. Should the ball land on the first field numbers or the third field numbers, the player wins.
Does It Work?
At the first glance the Oscar’s grinding looks like a very straightforward strategy. However, it is not so simple. Although Oscar’s grinding is mathematically based and provenly works, there are some drawbacks.
This strategy works for even-money bets in roulette – black/red, even/odd, and high/low. It basically guarantees 1 unit wins at least, over time.
On the other hand, it demands a lot of time. This system proved to work over longer, even indefinite periods of time. In case you do not have patience, unlimited bankroll and all the time of tis world on your hands, switch to another strategy.
We are saying this because sometimes this strategy can exhaust the funds. It may as well happen that you should increase the bet size to over 4 units, just so you would be able to reimburse the losses.
