Match Play 21 Basics
Match Play 21 is the game in which there are no tens. However, this Spanish blackjack variant features jacks, queens and kings. The usual number of decks is 6, and the usual blackjack hand pays 3:2. The advantage of this game is that it is flexible in terms of the betting limits.

What About the Special Payouts?

And when it comes to side bets, these are the payouts:

- Payout 2:1 applies when the 21 hand consists of six cards and the three 7s (of the same suit, but not Spades) and the 6-7-8 are suited
- Payout is 3:1 when there is a 6-7-8 sequence or three Spade 7s
- Payout 40:1 applies when the player reaches the Match Play 21, i.e. when the player holds three suited 7s while the dealer is holding a 7 of any suits.
Any Restrictions in Moves?
As with the usual variant of Blackjack, Match Play 21 relies on the same rules at its core. In Match Play 21, player can hit, stand, split up to four hands, double after splitting a hand, or double down on hard 9s, 10s, and 11s. Nevertheless, players are not allowed to re-split Aces, or re-double.
